Heat Wave July 3, 2007
So we had a heat wave of 90+ degree days for a few days and the girls went into the little “splash” pool to cool off in the afternoon. They had a blast!! Zachary got in on it too after playing with his older friends in the bigger pool by their apartment.
School Awards July 3, 2007
At the end of the school year Zachary received seven awards for excellence in school. First place for Social Studies, Second place for Spelling in his class of 5th graders…perfect attendance, music and art awards. It was a busy day for him! Great job kiddo!

The wedding day!! Amy and Michael officially became husband and wife on June 16, 2007. It was raining a bit throughout the day but turned out to be a beautiful wedding and reception! The kids had a blast and enjoyed the toys they were each given.

A girl and her Grandpa July 3, 2007
Melody has never been very cuddly with Grandpa..well maybe when she was a baby..but since then hardly gives him the time of day. But Grandpa keeps trying and he finially had his time two days in a row! June 14th and June 15th we were at Grandpa’s house for the day visiting and Melody sat down at the table and talked with Grandpa and chatted a bit. Then was off again. Notice Kylie trying to get in on it. Then late the next night Melody wanted to read a book..and then another and another and another. They ended up reading 10 or 11 books that night. Notice how Melody was a bit further off and by the end was cuddled up nice and close and even smiling! I have always loved a girl and her Grandpa!

Please bear with me as I post the millions of photos taken while family was visiting for Amy and Mikes Wedding! Below are photos of Henry and Melody playing at Grandma and Grandpa’s house…on the swings, in the yard, in the pop up tent thingy, on the seesaw..just having a blast with eachother and being the cutest at the same time. Don’t you just love three year olds?! (Well Melody will be three in three weeks…so close enough!)
